Caring for Our Ocean: A Visit with Alohilani Maiava - When Alohilani was in grade school, the ocean waters of Waimanalo called to her and that's what led her as a fifth grader to Hui Malama O Ke Kai. Today as a staff member, she teaches Hawaii's keiki, or children, the very same principles and skills she was also taught there when young.
